The heart is a four-chambered muscular organ which, through a two-part contraction, pumps oxygen and nutrient rich blood around the body and consists of many important parts to make this work. Learn all the parts in this heart labeling game.

The 13 heart terms practiced in this game are:

Superior vena cava, Pulmonary artery, Pulmonary vein, Mitral valve, Aortic valve, Left ventricle, Right ventricle, Left atrium, Right atrium, Aorta, Pulmonary valve, Tricuspid valve, Inferior vena cava

1. Heart image markup (Max 3 misses)

Image markupsImage markups - The level consists of 13 image markup questions, but a maximum of 10 image markup questions are practiced per game round. Each question should be answered by selecting the correct marker in the image. Only one of the markers is correct. It is for you to find the right dot in the picture. The student has 3 attempts at each picture question. If the student answers a task incorrectly, the game round can be continued, but the round is marked as not completed. There is no time limit. When the student has found all the correct picture markings, the game round is completed. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button named Cancel - then all the correct dots in the image will be displayed - and then try to complete the level again.

The student has 3 hearts (extra lives) that keep the game round going. There is no time limit. When the student has selected all the correct answers, the game round is completed. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button named Cancel - then the correct answers will be displayed - and then try to complete the level again.

4. Find heart words (Word puzzle)

Letter gridLetter grid - The level consists of 8 words and all are practiced every game round. The player is shown a board consisting of letters in a grid and must drag the mouse pointer or finger over the letters until a word is found. The words to be found are placed on the board as unreadable words and they are listed in plain text next to the board. If the student manages to find all the words, the game is won. There is no time limit. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button named Cancel - then the correct words will be displayed - and then try to complete the level again.

5. Heart memory (Picture to term)

MemoryMemory - The level consists of 13 pairs (consisting of words paired with pictures), but a maximum of 10 pair are practiced per game round. The student's task is to find two cards that match. If two matching cards are found, they are removed from the board. The game is finished when all 10 pairs of cards have been found and the memory has no cards left. There is no time limit. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button named Cancel - then it will show which pairs of cards match - and then try to complete the level again.

6. Write heart terms

Questions with text answersQuestions with text answers - The level consists of 13 questions (all of which have pictures), but a maximum of 10 questions are practiced per game round. The student has to write the correct answer without color guidance and has 3 attempts to write the correct word or sentence in each question's text field that are not case-sensitive. The student receives feedback on each keystroke to make it easier to type the correct answer. If the entered character is correct, the text turns green and if it's incorrect, the text turns red. There is no time limit. When the student has written all the answers correctly, the game round is completed. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button named Cancel - then the correct answers will be displayed - and then try to complete the level again.

7. Heart words guessing (5 guesses)

Guess wordGuess word - The level consists of 8 words, but a maximum of 1 word are practiced per game round. Here the student has to find the word or sentence by suggesting letters from the alphabet. If the suggested letter is in the requested word, the letter is filled in at all the right places in the letter slots. If the letter is not in the word then a balloon pops. If the player can guess the right letters and find the word before all the 5 balloons run out, the round is won. There is no time limit. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button named Cancel - then the correct word will be displayed - and then try to complete the level again.

Calculation of knowledge points and medals

Each completed game level in Human Heart Anatomy gives 1 knowledge points. You can collect a maximum of 7 knowledge points by completing all 7 levels.
In the game Human Heart Anatomy, you can earn a total of 21 medals. Medals are awarded based on how many times you have completed a level:
  • Bronze medal: after completing 2 rounds.
  • Silver medal: after completing 5 rounds.
  • Gold medal: after completing 10 rounds.
Knowledge points are only awarded for levels you have not completed before, meaning those that do not yet have checked green circles. Even after completing a level and earning both knowledge points and medals, you can continue practicing it. However, this will not grant any additional knowledge points or medals.
